Scotty Sims and Jim Johnson are proud to present the 1st KCNQ2 Family and Professional Summit in collaboration with The KCNQ2 Cure Alliance September 18th – 19th in Denver, Colorado. For more information please visit www.KCNQ2cure.org.

The Summit will bring families together with leading clinicians and researchers to discuss new developments in KCNQ2 Encephalopathy and associated intractable childhood epilepsies. The event will include multiple topics, as well as a professional-to-professional roundtable and opportunities for families to socialize.  

For those who are not able to attend we will be streaming live both Thursday and Friday’s sessions.  Streaming info will be added a few days before the Summit.  If you will be streaming you still need to register and click on the option that you will not be attending, but will be streaming.

Complimentary shuttle transportation to and from Denver International Airport every 30 minutes starting at 4:30AM-12:15AM daily- we are located 20-30 minutes from the airport (17 miles).  If a wheel chair lift is needed for pickup from the airport please call the hotel in advance.

How will I get to and from the events on Thursday and Friday?

Transportation will be provided to and from Children’s Hospital for Friday’s event. Transportation will only be picking up at the DoubleTree Hotel.

How will I be able to Live stream the Summit?

Streaming information will be added to this section a few days before the Summit.  Please register if you will be streaming the Summit as we need to have contact information of the participants.
