Kapi`olani Community College STEM Opportunity Expo
Thursday, November 15, 2012 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM (PST)
San Francisco, California
London, United Kingdom
The Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) Program at Kapi‘olani Community College will be hosting the STEM Opportunity Expo on Thursday, November 15th, 2012. This event will promote career, degree, service, and internship opportunities available locally for students interested in STEM fields.
We are asking for the support of local companies and professionals to participate as exhibitors to speak with our students about services you offer and opportunities you may have. This will be a "career fair" style event in which organizations will set up table displays. You are also encouraged to bring a few promotional items that will be raffled off to students during the event.
With over 8,000 students enrolled at Kapi‘olani CC, there is great potential for them to positively impact the future of Hawai‘i’s STEM workforce. By partnering with local businesses and organizations, students will be able to discover the wealth of opportunities available to them here in Hawai‘i.
We would greatly appreciate your attendance. We request that you please notify us before Monday, November 5th of your interest in participating at the Opportunity Expo by emailing email@example.com. We also invite you to learn more about our program by going to our website at stem.kcc.hawaii.edu. Thank you for your time and support!
