Come and be a part of the Kansas Law Enforcement - Run to Remember 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run supporting our heroes and honoring our fallen! This event will honor those law enforcement officers who have made the ultimate sacrifice and given their lives protecting and serving and to support the families they have left behind. Put together a team in memory of a fallen officer, support an agency, or register as an individual. This will be a day for everyone to pay tribute and remember. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Fraternal Order of Police Auxiliary, Topeka #3 and the Kansas Chapter of Concerns of Police Survivors (C.O.P.S.). Kansas COPS is a local organization focused on providing services and support for the law enforcement families tragically left behind when their loved one pays the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.
Both courses will start and finish at Lake Shawnee Shelter House #4. Runners will start in the front and the course will run south along the beautiful hills at Lake Shawnee for a challenging 5K course. The 5K Walkers will start the race at the rear of the runners and will complete the same course. For those looking for a less challenging course, we will offer a one mile Fun Run that will encompass Tinman Circle beginning and ending at the Shelter House.
Route map will be coming soon so stay tuned and follow the Fraternal Order of Police Auxiliary, Topeka #3 on Facebook for updates!

ABOUT THE FRATERNAL ORDER OF POLICE AUXILIARY, TOPEKA #3
For nearly twenty-five years, the Fraternal Order of Police Auxiliary, Topeka Lodge #3 has been supporting and uniting law enforcement families in Shawnee County. The Fraternal Order of Police Auxiliary prides itself in allowing members the opportunity to volunteer and give back as well as give and receive support in times of need. Our goal is to establish a network of support and camaraderie and to enrich the bond that is shared between members through philanthropy and fraternalism. Over the years, the FOP Auxiliary has not only supported our fellow law enforcement families, we have also helped many local charities such as Special Olympics Kansas and the United Way Christmas Bureau. This year we will be hosting the Kansas Law Enforcement Run to Remember 5K to raise awareness of fallen officers across our state and to support the families left behind.
