When & Where
Kalamazoo in Bloom
Kalamazoo in Bloom kicks off 30 years of celebrating our area's hot bedding plant industry. Our mission is to plant locally grown flowers and plants in public spaces to beautify our metropolitan communities. Places we plant include Bronson Park, City Hall, County Courthouse, Arcadia Festival Site, Portage City Center and Library Lane. We also provide flowers for Crane Park, Health & Community Services Building, and Comstock Community Center. Hundreds of volunteers gather each May for community planting days, and flowerbed signs recognize bed adopters and bed sponsors. www.kalamazooinbloom.org.
