The culmination of the KahBang Film Festival weekend is the Closing & Awards Party. In competition category filmmakers will be awarded as well as one Audience Choice winner, awarded by Festivalgoers' ballots. It wouldn't be a party without filmmakers, guests, and you to help us celebrate the incredible indie- film awesomeness that has been showcased here during the 2013 KahBang Film Festival and the leaps we've taken this year to broaden both our program & our film community.

KahBang Film Festival [KahBang Arts]
The KahBang Film Festival is a discovery festival for independent cinema, dedicated to showcasing emerging films and filmmakers and exposing them to new audiences. The festival is a program of the non-profit organization KahBang Arts and is part of the KahBang Festival brand. To serve this mission, the KahBang Film Festival brings a unique free ticket model allowing for a wide, diverse audience of festival-goers.
Going into it’s 4th year as part of the annual KahBang Music | Art | Film Festival, the KahBang Film Festival will be presented in 2013 by KahBang Arts, the non-profit arm of KahBang.
Each year, KahBang Arts curates the KahBang Art Festival and is excited to take on the film program for the first time. Some of the announced changes in format will include late-night screenings on the Waterfront Festival Grounds and a VHS Film Screening night.
The KahBang Film Festival takes place August 8th thru 11th in Bangor, ME.
