Join NYULYP on Tuesday, June 19th at 6:30pm for our General Body Meeting at 1290 Avenue of the Americas.  This meeting will include the NYULYP annual report, and will feature notable professor & author of Black and Tired: Essays on Race, Politics, Culture, and International Development & Liberating Black Theology: The Bible & the Black Experience in America, Anthony Bradley, Ph.D. A guest lecturer on topics including race in America, hip hop, youth culture, education and social injustice, Dr. Bradley will be leading us in an engaging discussion on Establishing an Entreprenurial Legacy and hope you can join us for the last meeting of our NYULYP year.  The meeting will be held at 1290 Avenue of the Americas.

We will be gathering for a post meeting social at Faces & Names Lounge located at 159 West 54th Street near 7th Avenue. All are welcome!

New York Urban League Young Professionals

The New York Urban League Young Professionals (NYULYP) is a unique entity of the New York Urban League designed to serve as an empowerment forum for individuals ages twenty-one to forty that live and work throughout the five boroughs of New York City.

This premier civil rights auxiliary group works to promote and support the mission of the New York Urban League by training the next generation of leaders through volunteer opportunities, personal and professional development and fund development. Founded April 1, 2003, the NYULYP is one of 57 chapters of the National Urban League Young Professionals.  This deeply rooted movement serves as a network of young professionals across the country that works to eradicate social and economic inequalities through the local implementation of the National Urban League’s empowerment agenda.
