About the Speaker:
Sara Hudson started at City Hall as the Community Preparedness Coordinator for the Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Management. During that time, she created NOLA Ready, the City’s first ever named City-wide campaign to encourage citizens to prepare for hurricanes and other disasters, and to create a one-stop shop for information during emergencies. NOLA Ready includes the website ready.nola.gov, social media (@NOLAready), and community presentations and publicity campaigns, among other things. Sara is currently the Web Content Manager for the Information Technology and Innovation team, and has just finished relaunching the nola.gov website.
