He has played on several radio jingles, performed several concerts with the Phoenix Symphony and played for more than a dozen national touring Broadway shows including The Lion King, Chicago and High School Musical.
Ted Sistrunk attended ASU to study with Chuck Maronich, also studiying with bassists Rufus Reid, Dave Holland, and Michael Formanack. He has honed his composition, arranging and improvisational skills by studying with the always innovative trumpeter/composer/educator Ralph Alessi.
