Jones & Juanita MORE present HALLOWEEN 2011:
Jones & Juanita MORE! Present...
Halloween 2011: A Red Carpet Runway Massacre
You'll find more glam and less gore at the city's most thrilling Halloween party.
With a midnight runway show that some will surely die for, Juanita MORE! and Jones promises a scream-worthy night featuring San Francisco’s most fashionable freaks sashaying down the catwalk under the light of a waxing moon—and yes, that means you! Hosted by “Project Runway" Season 8 designer Christopher Collins as well as Club Some Things infamous “Project Runtover” with Mr. David as Tim Gumm, the red-carpet runway massacre will take place outside on Jones’ pseudo-rooftop patio, and all party-goers will be invited, if they dare, to strut their costumed “stuff” down the runway for a chance to win gift certificates from some of Juanita's favorite San Francisco hot-spots, including ATYS, farm: table, Gimme Shoes, Mr. Retro Fit, Ryan Allen, Stephen Saiz Salon, Sui Generis, Union Made, and more.
Behind the decks, San Francisco’s sonic evocateur DJ Delachaux will bring the bats out of the belfry with an opening set while New York City's DJ Sparber will keep the spirits alive with his nu disco, electro-house dance set.
“No bones about it—and yes, I mean that literally since I prefer the glam to the gore on Halloween—this party is going to blow the roof off Jones,” said Juanita MORE! “Everyone who’s anyone—fashionable, anyway—will be at Jones for the best ghouls’ night out since Elizabeth Taylor stole husband number four from under Debbie Reynolds’ little nose.”
“We’re expecting this to be an annual event,” said Pete Glikshtern, proprietor of Jones. “I’ve known Juanita for many years and I’m absolutely confident that this party is guaranteed to be a scream.”
A very limited number of $35 tickets are available, first come, first served. This price includes a hosted bar (yes, you read that right!) and limitless hors d'oeuvres - all night long!
