When & Where
First Presbyterian Church of Haddonfield
First Presbyterian Church of Haddonfield has a strong Mission Outreach program that helps the less fortunate around the world. We are working with "Feed My Starving Children", a Christian non-profit, for the second year in a row on an endeavor to provide 150,000 meals to severely malnourished children. Last year over 600 volunteers packed over 109,000 meals that were sent to Swaziland on the eastern coast of the African Continent. With 27% of the adults in Swaziland infected with AIDS, kids there are in dire straits.
The donations raised at The Messiah Sing-Along will go directly towards purchasing the food for this year's packing event. Over 800 volunteers will gather at our church on Saturday, April 12, 2014 to pack the meals. This is the only event of its kind in South Jersey and Southeastern Pennsylvania.
