On Saturday, August 7 at 7:30 p.m. enjoy a special evening with the jazz
quartet Jimmy Masters’ Other Borders performing a free concert at the
Williamsburg Library Theatre, 515 Scotland St. The band will play jazz
standards from the Great American Songbook, contemporary jazz and
original compositions. The quartet features J.C. Kuhl (pronounced Cool) a
leading voice on the Richmond jazz scene; Trey Pollard an exceptional,
bright, creative force on guitar; and drummer Brian Jones, a leading
proponent of the creative music scene in Richmond as well as instructor
of drums at William & Mary and Virginia Commonwealth University.
They are all led by bassist Jimmy Masters, who has performed in greater
Hampton Roads for over 25 years. Jimmy has made many visits to the
