Also New This Year: The day's events on the front lawn of Los Gatos High School will include an auction of items contributed by Jill's Ride for Hope sponsors and supporters! And the first contributions to the auction come from the Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety, which has donated ten tours of Sunnyvale's unique, integrated public safety department, and one ride-a-long with a Sunnyvale Public Safety Officer! Polly Naber has taken that tour and found it highly interesting and entertaining. She describes her experience of Sunnyvale's 911 call center as "intense." Now. Holly Lawrence of the Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety's Crime Prevention Unit wants us to note that they check ride-a-long riders for warrants. Just sayin'. Sounds real!
