Explore the evolution of the Jewish-Catholic relationship from the first century through the present. The class will examine “Nostra Aetate”, the Vatican II document that radically transformed this relationship, in particular with regards to Catholic theology.
Devorah Schoenfeld is an Assistant Professor of Theology ( Judaism) at Loyola University (Chicago). Her book, Isaac on Jewish and Christian Altars: Genesis 22 in Rashi and in the Glossa Ordinaria, is forthcoming with Fordham University Press.
