“THE TIME IS AS RIPE AS A JERSEY TOMATO FOR SETTING THE RECORD STRAIGHT ON JERSEY GIRL ROOTS AND REALITY”
Thursday, August 4th, 2011
The smart, sexy must-have accessory of the summer. With a brashy mix of vintage and modern photography, a first ever Jersey Girl Hall of Fame (inductees include Sarah Vaughn, Dorothy Parker and Connie Francis), and shout-outs to TRUE Jersey Girl style (“The bigger the hair, the closer to God”), Jersey Girls rescues the shore from the wanna-be’s and restores statewide diva dignity, from the beaches of Atlantic City to the boundaries of the GW Bridge.
The season will surely sizzle when this cool, cawfee table book takes to the shore to kick sand in the face of the stereotypical, “Poughkeepsie” portrayal of Garden State Girls.
