The Baroque to Modern on Main concert series at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Trumbull present Jennifer Foster, soprano, in a Memorial Day concert with music by American composers. She will present selections by Charles Ives, Lee Hoiby and Leonard Bernstein, as well as Samuel Barber's Knoxville:Summer of 1915, a musical setting of text by James Agee. Jennifer Foster is a sought-after performer in oratorio and concert. She has been featured at the Hollywood Bowl with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, was a soloist with the New Haven Symphony, and has sung with the Boston Cantata Singers. She will be accompanied by Elina Christova on piano.
