Marty Eigen’s Beacon Hill Jazz Band, will perform the music of Messer’s Ellington and Basie. Sitting in for the Duke and Count on piano will be Sir Fred Fischer.
Duke Ellington and Count Basie had the best big bands in the known universe. Their music shook the world and has excited audiences since 1927, when Duke Ellington’s orchestra became the house band at the world famous Cotton Club in New York City.
