jay kitchen is a vegan fine dining restaurant concept by Chef Jay Astafa. Jay is debuting his concept as a 2 day popup restaurant on April 25th and 26th at 7:00 at The Old Bowery Station on 168 Bowery.
Jay Astafa is the vegan chef of 3 Brothers Pizza Cafe in Farmingdale, NY. Jay has been vegan for over 5 years, and it has inspired him to become a vegan chef. He is now working on creating a vegan fine dining restaurant in the restaurant capital of the world. His popup restaurant is a preview of what's to come to New York's dining scene.
Jay Astafa is featuring an 8 course tasting menu with complimentary wines. The menu is inspired by spring, fun, and modern techique. The tasting menu highlights organic spring vegetables and gives them a chance to take center stage. jay kitchen is all about creating a fun memorable gourmet experience for guests!

There are 3 dining areas where you can choose to sit.
chef's counter- 6 seats
open kitchen view- 24 seats communal (3 tables of 8)
bowery side- 56 seats- seating is a mix of 4 communal white table cloth tables for 8 and 9 tables for 2.

When & Where
Jay Astafa is a vegan chef who has a passion in creating innovative vegan dishes. He created the vegan menu for his dad's restaurant 3 Brothers Pizza Cafe in Farmingdale. He graduated from the Natural Gourmet Institute in 2011. He is now working on bringing a vegan fine dining restaurant to New's York's dining scene. He will first debut his restaurant concept jay kitchen as a 2 day popup on April 25th and April 26th at the Old Bowery Station.
