WHY: All proceeds will be donated to two local charities: The United Way of Northeast Florida and Community Health Charities of Florida. The tournament is part of JAXPORT's annual charity drive to support those in need in our community.

What do I get for a golf registration?
Each player receives the following
- Round of golf (includes cart)
- Practice range balls before the event

Are sponsorships available for purchase?
Yes, corporate sponsorships are available. Please see the sponsor levels above, or you may call Robert Peek at (904) 357-3047 to discuss the best package for you. All sponsor dollars will go directly to United Way and/or Community Health Charities, your choice -- or we'll split it evenly with both charities.
May I pay by check?

What is the event format?
This will be a Best Ball tournament. No handicaps will be factored (the focus is on fun), but prizes will be awarded to first, second and third place teams. We also will give two prizes for "closest to the pin" on two of the par 3s.
Is this event open to the public?
Yes! Anyone can register to play in this tournament. In addition to helping two great causes, it is a great way to network and meet people from throughout Jacksonville's maritime and transportation industries.
If I don't want to play, may I still come to the lunch?
Yes, if you are not a golfer but still want to participate, please purchase a ticket and join us for the post-event lunch.
Who are United Way of Northeast Florida and Community Health Charities of Florida?
United Way of Northeast Florida works to improve life for people in Baker, Clay, Duval, Nassau and northern St. Johns counties. Community Health Charities of Florida unites caring donors in the workplace with the nation's most trusted health charities. By doing so, we improve the lives of people who live with a disability or chronic disease and those they care about. Donations are used to support these charities and provide research, patient services and outreach in communities at the local level.
How were these two charities selected by JAXPORT?
For many years, JAXPORT has held an annual charity drive to support both the United Way and Community Health Charities. Both are well-established charitable organizations with the ability to support individuals and families across a wide spectrum of needs.
