Yoshi Maruyama, owner of Shabu Shabu House in Los Angeles' Little Tokyo, will be hosting a Japanese food and culture seminar on Monday, May 19 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Guests will be introduced to the balance and art of Japanese cooking (healthful portions, fermented foods, importance of high quality ingredients). A tasting is included. Please join Maruyama for an informative and delicious Monday evening in the Demo Auditorium (room 147).
