Please join the Chapter in welcoming Mr. Michael Herrera, CBCP, as the speaker at our January Chapter meeting. Michael is the Chief Executive Officer of MHA Consulting in Glendale, Arizona.
Mr. Herrera founded MHA Consulting Inc in 1999 after a fifteen (15) year career in the world of banking.
Prior to founding MHA Consulting, Michael was a Regional Vice President for Bank of America responsible for Business Continuity Planning (BCP) across four (4) southwestern states. He was one of the first people to receive the Certified Disaster Recovery Planner (CDRP) certification (now known as the Certified Business Continuity Planner designation) in 1992. He is a sought after speaker and instructor at business continuity planning conferences and events across the United States. He is also the founder of the M2H Charity, a charity focused on the needs of underprivileged elementary school age children and a member of the Board of Directors of the Phoenix Ronald McDonald House Charities.
Michael will speak on the importance of business continuity planning and discuss how security directors shouldn't just focus on crisis management as a sole discipline. He'll talk about a holistic approach that supports the business goals of not only surviving, but thriving during crisis.
