Event Details

James Suckling & Zachys proudly present: Great Wines of Bordeaux. This is your rare opportunity to meet the producers and taste the wines from France's premier wine region. The event will consist of a walk around tasting of more than 100 wines from 50 top producers. Wine producers and their representatives will fly from France to meet participants and serve wines. In addition to the superb selection of wines, this impressive tasting will also include an elaborate cheese selection and music from award-winning recording artists: Rob Moose of Bon Iver, Sufjan Stevens, and yMusic.

Many of the greatest names will be there - Latour, Haut-Brion, Vieux Chateau Certan, Mouton Rotschild, Montrose, and many more. Each winery will present a minimum two wines, a recent release and an older vintage. Some of the best modern vintages of the decade will be served including 2000, 2005, 2009 and 2010 as well as very drinkable years such as 2004, 2006, 2007 and 2008. Internationally acclaimed wine critic, James Suckling personally selected and awarded every wine at the event 90 points or more. All of the wines will be available for purchase on-line and through a smartphone application.
