“Most people – even the scholarly and the sophisticated – fail to recognize the public relations element inherent in every human transaction and communication. The smile on our face, the tone of our voice and the letter we write, how quickly we respond to telephone calls, the typefaces and colors in an advertisement, the body language of the politician seeking our vote.”
Founder Chairman, Burson-Marsteller
JMU’s Public Relations Student Society of America will be holding its annual banquet to recognize students for their hard work in becoming esteemed PR professionals.
This year, PRSSA has the honor of presenting keynote speaker Harold Burson, founder of the largest and international public relations agency, Burson-Marsteller. Mr. Burson, named by PRWeek as “the century’s most influential PR figure,” is noted for his innovative and dynamic work in the field of Public Relations.
In addition to dinner and good company, Mr. Burson will impart advice and insight for public relations professionals of the past, present, and future. We encourage you to attend this once in a lifetime event to support the JMU Chapter of PRSSA.
