JAMAICA INDEPENDENCE CELEBRATIONS IN PHILADELPHIA 2014

STARTS AT 10:00 A.M. Sat. 9th of August to 6:30 P.M. 2014

A Jamaican cultural exposition, that consist of the following:-

Jamaica craft

Jamaican visual arts-Paintings of Jamaica historic sites and tourist attractions

Jamaican culinary arts-various Jamaican food for sale

Jamaican apparels for sale

Family games: Egg & Spoon race / Tug & War / Kids Race / Moms Race / Dads Race / crow cuss Bag Race

Singing completion for Kids / Adults

Hot Patty eating contest / Bun eating contest / Red Stripe Beer drinking contest

Fashion show

Disc Jockey’s fraternity:  Hypa Active Sound System with Local & International Disc Jockeys                             

Each ticket purchased, will be entered in a raffle, to win a trip to Jamaica for Two (2) by Fly Jamaica Airline & a Weekend for Two (2) at Sandals Resort in Jamaica.

The Jamaican Pennsylvania Association (J.P.A.) is an incorporated, non-profit charitable organization, 501 (c) (3)whose mission is to promote and sustain Jamaica's Motto “Out of Many, One People”. To conduct Jamaican cultural and heritage activities in Pennsylvania State.

The Jamaican Pennsylvania Association (J.P.A.) will work in accordance with a memorandum of understanding to be agreed upon by the Ministry of Culture of Jamaica / Ministry of Foreign Affairs & Trade of Jamaica and Ministry of Tourism and Ministry of Education of Jamaica. 

 The Jamaican Pennsylvania Association (J.P.A.) objective is to provide advocacy, which represent Jamaicans / Jamaican parentage in Pennsylvania State. Sustain high cultural integrity and promote our indigenous musical & sports talent that is zenith throughout the world.
