Part glam festival, part chic cocktail party, part foodie extravaganza—the third annual Jacksonville Whiskey Affair will be a celebration of the myriad points of intersection between cocktails and culture. Last year’s fundraising fete was a mix of fantastic food and sophisticated libations and other luxurious indulgences. Well, we’re at it again with a delicious eats, fine spirits and more.
This year the event will take place on Thursday, November 14, 7-9:30 PM, at Aloft at Tapestry Park. Tickets will go on sale at the end of the summer.
This year we will have the Cocktail Challenge. Five restaurants will create a cocktail for the event and compete for the “People’s Choice” award. Our VIP guests will decide who wins.
Last year the event included top-shelf spirits from Riverside Liquors & Village Wine Shop, Mojo No. 4, Palm Ridge Reserve, and Coastal Wine & Spirits. Bite-sized treats were provided by III Forks, Small Bites Desserts Studio, Capital Grille, Mojo No. 4 and Bold City Brewery. Julio Cordero, a master Cuban cigar roller, also came to roll cigars.
This event will benefit the Junior League of Jacksonville. Tickets are $40 for regular admission, $50 for VIP and $20 for designated drivers.
