Jack Youngblood, author and Pro Football Hall of Famer, played for the Los Angeles Rams for 14 seasons. Known as the John Wayne of the NFL, he even played in Super Bowl XIV with a broken leg. No one can accuse him of not being tough enough.
Now dealing with his own concussion-related challenges, Mr. Youngblood serves on the National Football League Players Association Mackey-White Traumatic Brain Injury Committee.
In a public presentation, Mr. Youngblood will share his experience and knowledge regarding Post-Concussion Syndrome for all athletes.
At the dinner following the presentation, Mr. Youngblood will be joined by a response panel of Santa Barbara community experts, who will each comment from their unique experiences.
