iPad Confidential: An Interaction Design Case Study

In January 2010, a select group from The New York Times was whisked to Apple headquarters in Cupertino, CA to work -- in stealth mode -- on an app that was part of the official iPad launch. Jennifer Brook, interaction designer for The New York Times iPad app, will discuss how she approached designing for the nascent platform, what she and her team have learned since their app's initial release, and how she sees the advent of the iPad impacting our work as interaction designers.
