It's So You: Fashion and the Feminine Genius
Wednesday, April 17, 2013 from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM (CDT)
San Francisco, California
London, United Kingdom
In April the Society of Macrina will host a series of weekly events focused on bringing authentic femininity back into fashion. Each event is meant to heighten awareness of what it means to be a woman, of how to foster beauty inside and out, and of how to cultivate the unique gifts that are encapsulated in JPII’s concept of the “feminine genius.”
For our third and final event, speaker, author, and fashion consultant Mary Sheehan Warren will give a presentation on ways to dress so that your inner beauty may shine through. Her talk will highlight the theoretical importance of making your face the focal point of your fashion, as well as the practical how-to's with makeover suggestions and tips to help discover your ideal colors and create a wardrobe that flatters your body shape.
Warren’s goal is to address the needs of the whole human person through improving a woman’s outward appearance, and in this way to promote her dignity and sense of self-worth. She blogs at www.isyfashion.com.
