Event Details

Elk is a favorite game meat for many chefs in its diversity of preparation, rich flavors and relative leanness, and here's a chance to celebrate this "other red meat" with some of our regions best chefs!

Join Chefs Adam Lambay from Chaumette Winery, Rex Hale from The Cheshire Hotel and Bar360, Lou Rook from Annie Gunn's, Josh Galliano from The Libertine, Matt Bessler from Schlafley Bottleworks and Dewayne Schaaf from Celebrations in Cape Girardeau for a festive elk supper, fantastic wine pairings from award-winning Chaumette Winery and Schlafley beer!

Each chef will prepare and serve their own favorite elk dish, and side dishes and desserts will be served in a family-style setting under tent at the picturesque Hinkebein Elk Farm in Ste. Genevieve.

Chaumette's Executive Chef Adam Lambay concepted this dinner to bring together his culinary friends for a fun night and to introduce guests to this great locally-sourced meat from friend and supplier Kevin Hinkebein, Owner of Hinkebein Elk Farm!

Please note: the event will be tented with available bathrooms and a wine & beer bar. Dress is casual.

From St. Louis: Follow I-55 S to State Hwy O in Ste. Genevieve County.
Take exit 154 from I-55 S, and drive 6 miles on State Hwy O.
Turn right onto MO-32 W and drive 10.4 miles.
Turn left onto State Hwy AA and drive 4.3 miles until you see an Elk symbol over the entrance/drive on left side of road.

Pass this entrance, drive 100 yards and pull through gated and park on the same side of the road in the grass. Park in the field.
Then, you'll see us!

From Farmington ~ take Hwy 32 East towards Ste. Genevieve. Go 4.5 miles and turn right onto Hwy AA, go past Pickle Springs Conservation Area and continue on Hwy AA to event entrance. If you go to Hwy F you went 1 mile too far.
