Join Laguna Canyon Foundation volunteers on this moderate but strenuous 5-mile wilderness hike through the Coastal Sage Scrub plant community (one of the most diverse plant communities in the U.S.A.). The terrain will be rocky and uneven with a 900-ft. elevation gain. For your safety and comfort please bring water, a hat, a snack and proper hiking shoes. Ages 15 and up. Laguna Coast Wilderness Park, James Dilley Preserve (east side of Laguna Canyon Rd/SR-133, just north of 73 Toll Road).
