Italians and Americans: How We See Each Other
A talk with Beppe Severgnini
Americans and Italians often look at each other through the lenses of stereotypes and clichés, and so do Italians and Italian-Americans.
New York Times and Corriere della Sera op-ed columnist Beppe Severgnini, former correspondent of the Economist and author of "La Bella Figura: A Field Guide to the Italian Mind" and "Ciao America! An Italian Discovers the US", takes us on a entertaining and thought-provoking journey through our national identities, aspirations and hard-nosed realities.
