The summers fare is getting the full Italian treatment in our class this evening. We'll create flavorful recipes that will have your taste buds in Tuscany.
Panzanella Salad - Using the summers best tomatoes, herbs and bread, we'll create the classic salad that is better the second day! Perfect for a picnic.
Ricotta Gnocchi - The richness of ricotta helps keep the gnocchi light and airy. Tossed with olive oil, garlic and red pepper flakes, the flavors are pure and distinct.
Pork Chop with Capers - Costate di Maiale con Capperi is a slow dish that uses time to caramelize onions and deepen the flavor of pork chops. The capers brininess cuts through the richness of the dish with its tartness.
Frico con le Potate - This is an addictive dish of potatoes, cheese and not much else. Browned to a nice crispness, its a wonderful side dish to the Pork.
Panna Cotta - Its the simple things that make this dessert so great. A rich creamy spoon is perfect with summer fruit.
Class begins at 6:30pm and lasts approximately 2 hours.
