Event Details

Investor-State Dispute Settlement (ISDS) continues to be the centre of criticism surrounding the negotiations for a Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP). The European Commission responded to the concerns by opening a public consultation process which triggered a record number of submissions. Given the heated debate, particularly in Europe a fact-based approach is essential. This seminar aims to provide a better understanding of the ISDS mechanism and why it is a fundamental element of the TTIP.  The audience will be MEPs, MEP assistants, member states, business community, think tanks, and media.  A light breakfast and coffee will be served.  All attendees MUST be registered.

We stand out as the only officially recognized transatlantic voice of business on trade and investment issues.
