iPads in the Elementary Classroom: Awesome Apps and Ideas for Integration (K-5)
There are thousands of apps in the App Store--determining what are the very best educational apps is a daunting job! Not to worry- this session will recommend apps that are high-quality, award winning, and engaging for your elementary students. Not only will you leave this session with dozens of free and low-cost app titles, you will also leave with resources for finding apps by grade level and content area. The audience for this workshop is new and experienced iPad users.
Kristine Scharaldi is an experienced teacher and outstanding staff developer in the area of technology integration in K-12 classrooms, who is back to Kean by popular demand.
Kristine’s workshops will be held from 8:30-2:00 in Hutchinson Hall Room 307-308 at the Kean University, Union Campus. A continental breakfast will be served and participants may bring a brown bag lunch.
We strongly encourage registrants to “bring your own device” (BYOD), but some iPads are available, if needed. Note that workshop sessions are limited to 20-25 registrants to allow for ongoing interactive hands-on experiences.
