Building an Enterprise Social Solution
Social is everywhere and social business is changing the landscape of how we interact with each other, and how we get work done. And yet, organizations are still reluctant to implement a social business strategy in their companies because they often do not recognize the value that it provides for them.
So, let’s talk about what a social business solution is, and more importantly, what it isn't. Then we will look at how such solutions can be used in your company to accomplish actual business needs. Along the way we will increase employee engagement in the company which affects retention, productivity, and more. Lastly, we will discuss how a social business solution "isn't a thing" and how you can take your organization from its current state to one that actively engages its employees to get work done.
David Broussard is a twenty-four year IT professional who has been working with SharePoint for over a decade now. This qualifies him, officially, as an old fart in the IT world.
