Event Details

Attention all Psychology undergraduates! Significant changes in CCU’s undergraduate psychology program are planned for the upcoming academic year. Due to the magnitude of these changes a group advising meeting is planned for Wednesday, March 27th from 12:00 to 1:00 in the Worship & Ministry Chapel.

Why you should attend:

·      Hours required for graduation have been reduced. Switching to the new curriculum will save some students time and money. Learn which catalog best meets your needs.

·      Each student will be required to secure his or her advisor’s signature before registering for classes in the fall. Advisors will be present to sign the required forms.

·      Free pizza.

·      If you decide to switch to the new catalog, Department Chairs from Bible/Theology, Ministry, and General Education will be available at the meeting to sign off on course substitutions.

·      Did I mention the free pizza?

 What you need to do:

·      RSVP by Noon, Monday March 25th here.  Be sure to indicate what type pizza you want.

·      Take a look at the degree check sheet below, which lists the required courses for the new 2013-2015 curriculum. Fill out the check sheet so you can see what classes you have and what you still need. Bring these items with you to the meeting:

o   An unofficial transcript (so we can help you identify courses that might substitute for requirements in the new curriculum)

o   The degree checklist (either for the old program if you plan to stay with that, or the new program if you plan to switch).
