Andreas Kaltsounis conducts complex investigations, drawing upon his expertise in computer forensics and cyber crime, legal background, and 13 years of experience as a state and federal law enforcement officer. He has led investigations related to both serious violent offenses and complex white collar crimes leading to successful outcomes in state and federal prosecutions. As a federal agent with the Department of Defense Office of the Inspector General, he has also developed expertise investigating civil and administrative violations of federal law, particularly those related to conflicts of interest, procurement fraud, and healthcare fraud. He works collaboratively with attorneys in the civil divisions of the United States Attorney's Offices and Department of Justice to prosecute these offenses. Andreas is a trained computer-forensics and cyber investigator, currently assigned to the Defense Criminal Investigative Service's Cyber Field Office where he works closely with DCIS's partners to investigate computer intrusions and other computer-related offenses impacting the Department of Defense.
