The DANR Board of Directors will host Dominican Introspective: A call to Action, a historic strategic summit about the internal and external challenges Dominican Americans face when competing for political representation, socio-economic opportunities and inclusion in the United States of America.
Discussion will also inclue impending immigration reform (Bills H.R.5 and H. R. 490) education policy (HR 521).
Participants in the summit will include a select group of local, state and national leaders, joined by experts in the areas of sociology, psychology and politics; they will join DANR leaders to discuss the current state and prospects of Dominican Americans in USA.

The Dominican American National Roundtable (DANR) is the only national nonprofit, nonpartisan organization based in Washington, DC, advocating for the socio-economic and civic development of Dominicans in the United States.
DANR is presided over by a National Board of Directors led by an executive committee composed of a president, a vice president, a youth president, a chairman, a treasurer, and a vice president representing Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
