Introduction to the Los Angeles Startup Community

Michael Carney, PandoDaily

Saturday, March 30th from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm

Happy Hour sponsored by Lyft

This free class is an orientation to help newcomers to the startup scene get acquainted with the exciting world of tech in Los Angeles. We will canvas key events/meetups to attend, people, companies, VCs, blogs, hot issues, and more. After class you are welcome to network with a number of prominent folks in the ecosystem.

Beer and wine will be sponsored by Lyft, a mobile app that lets you request a ride from a fabulous, hand selected community of drivers.

Michael Carney is a reporter for PandoDaily, a news site that covers the technology startup ecosystem. Michael covers startups and technology companies for PandoDaily. Previously, he was an investor, advisor and executive of companies ranging across early-stage technology, natural resources and real estate.
