Introduction to Quakerism

Participants will experience Quaker practices, including a mini-Meeting for Worship. The program is highly interactive. Topics covered include these:

• information about Quaker history, practices, beliefs, testimonies;
• how to use Quaker testimonies in our jobs and as part of patient-centered care;
• how Quaker organizations work; and how to incorporate Quaker practices (such as consensus and “moments of silence”) into workplace meetings and resident care situations.

Who Should Attend? Participants may come from any level or staff position in your organization.

Cost? Your organization will be invoiced for the $150.00 workshop fee.
