Introduction to Programming - Processing

Learn the basics of computer programming in this day camp with MakersFactory! We will use Processing (http://www.processing.org), a Java-based language designed to produce interesting graphics and simple games. Learn to paint interactive pictures on a digital canvas, and produce images of your own design that move and transform before your eyes! This class is designed for curious aspiring programmers and students need no prior experience in programming, although basic proficiency in computers is required.

MakersFactory is a new educational maker space in downtown Santa Cruz, CA, where students of all ages will learn and use exciting new technology for 3D printing, modeling, animation, and robotics. MakersFactory students will be able to design, prototype, and manufacture a wide variety of items, from simple 3D objects to complex mechanical/electronic products.
