Introduction to Arduino for Noncoders
Saturday, August 30, 2014 from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM (EDT)
Learn the basics of physical computing. Use the Arduino to connect to the outside world and interact with it.
We will learn how to use the Arduino IDE. Once confortable with some example programs, we will start making our own!
- We will provide kits during the class that include the Arduino and needed electronics.
- The kits will be available for purchase if you want to take them home and keep working!
Please be ready to start at 10am! We find that you will need this time to get through the whole class. We will have a break at 12:00pm for lunch. Feel free to bring your own food, or you can order something for delivery.
Our classes tend to sell out so if you're interested, you may want to sign up early. Please bring a laptop with the Arduino environment and FTDI drivers preinstalled on it. It's available at http://arduino.cc/en/Main/Software.
The class will be taught by NYC Resistor member Nick Vermeer.
