Event Details

The unique strength of Animal Assisted Therapy is that it allows clients to practice and experience new behaviors and ways of seeing themselves.  Rather than talking about their problems, clients are actively engaging in new behaviors. In this process Clients are developing confidence and mastery therefore increasing success in carrying out these behaviors in their natural world.
