Share Introduction ArcGIS 10.1 Part 2

Event Details

This is Part 2 of the introduction to ArcGIS 10.1.  It is assumed that the participants will have solid computer skills and the knowledge that was taught in the first part of the workshop.  Part 1 of the workshop covered principles of an introduction to geography, including coordinate systems and projections as well as basic GIS.  In addition the first part of the workshop covered using US Census data for demographics which included tabular joining of data and geocoding of data as well simply query of data and use of basemaps.  In part 2 of the Introductory to ArcGIS 10.1 topics to be cover will include the concepts of symbology, clipping of data, merging of shapefiles, labeling of data, spatial joins and final map layout for publication.
