Introducing Missional Communities: The What & Why of Missional Communities
Saturday, June 1, 2013 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
San Francisco, California
London, United Kingdom
Ever wonder how the church should go about reaching the unchurched? Do you find yourself dreaming about a new vision for the church in light of our current reality, in which only 40% of Americans find any relevance in church and even fewer participate? You're not alone!
On Saturday, June 1st, join others from around Chicagoland to discuss and explore the what and why of missional communities. Not only will you get to hear about how missional communities can be an important vehicle for the gospel, but you'll also get a taste of the Forge Chicago Residency. Our residents are gathering for their 4th collaborative training that weekend and by joining us, you'll get to participate in a portion of their training and get a glimpse into the kind of equipping provided by this 9 month experience.
So invite friends and team members to join you for a morning of inspiring teaching, story telling and practical suggestions for missional communities! Also, make sure to stay for lunch to have a chance to talk with others wrestling through how to live this out.
