Please note: This class has been rescheduled from Sat. 12/3 to Sat 12/17. Thanks!

TIG is the new MIG. Well, maybe or maybe not, but it IS our most in-demand class. So come down to our shop and see for yourself. In the past we have kept this class as an experienced welder-only class, partly because it's harder (most of us think), and partly because we all want to take the class, don't really have enough teachers, and don't really like to share. But thanks to the Madagascar Institute AFTWs (army of female tig welders), this notorious and mysterious welding class is now open to all. The most awesome thing about TIG is that TIG allows the learner to see exactly what is going on as a weld is executed, up close and personal, without being showered in splatter.

As with other classes at our shop: you will be hot when it's hot and cold when it's cold so dress for the weather. Wear long pants, long sleeves and prepare to get dirty.

The class is $50 with a $10 materials fee.
