INTRO TO THE ESV PROGRAM

The Mission of the Office of Emergency Services (OES) is to coordinate the unified and efficient use of City resources, outside agencies (mutual aid), and community resources to prevent, to prepare for, to respond to, and to recover from all hazards.
This two hour course will describe and explain the organization of the Emergency Services Volunteer (ESV) program, the roles and responsibilities, activation procedures, and the collaboration and interaction of the teams that comprise this program: BPC/NPC, CERT, Logistics/Trailer Teams, Auxiliary Communications Services, and Medical Reserve Corps.
This course will assist all ESVs to be more effective and efficient during activation and response.
INTENDED AUDIENCE: All Emergency Services Volunteers (ESVs).
