Intro to Sales for Technology Startups
Wednesday, December 5th from 5:30 - 7:00 pm
Jorge Soto, VP of Sales, PunchTab & Founder, Sales4StartUps
So you’re launching a b2b technology startup and trying to finalize your business model, plan the UI/UX for your MVP (minimum viable product), and determine development milestones. But you’ve forgotten one critical component of your company’s success: Sales.
Startups don’t often think about sales and sales process until much later, resulting in missed opportunities and increased pressure to produce. This class will teach students how to galvanize their startup's sales efforts and immediately capitalize on existing opportunities through:
- Prospecting and Lead Generation
- Presentations, Demoing, and Closing
- Cold Calling, The Sales Cycle, and Types of Sales Structures
- Lead Qualification Cycle
- Sales Team Structure
Class materials required: - Laptop - Create a Google Docs Account - Create a Jigsaw Account (free at http://www.jigsaw.com/)
