Their is no better way to learn than by doing! In our Beverage Program classes we focus on history, theory, and techniques, but most of all on actually making the cocktails. These classes are designed to be in a larger format for you to have the opportunity to invite all of your friends and have a great time.

Learn the top techniques and tools to become master of your own home bar. You’ll also enjoy hands on experience in shaking (classic Margarita), stirring (traditional Manhattan), and muddling (seasonal smash) your way to a better home bar.

FAQs

Are there age requirements to enter the class?

Cocktail classes are intended for ages 21 and up.

Can I purchase or bring beverages to the event?

You won't need to bring any beverages becuase you'll be making them. We will have market merchandise and cocktail equipement available for purchase.

What if I have food restrictions/allergies?

Not a problem. Simply indicate during the registration process if there are any dietary restrictions that our instructor should be aware of. We will make the appropriate accomadations to ensure an excellent culinary experience.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

Parking is free for the first 30 minutes, $2 for 30-60 minutes and $1 for each additional 30 minutes.

What can/can't I bring to the event?

We have everything you need for class - all the equipment, the ingredients, the aprons, and the fun! If you shop prior to class and need to put any perishable food puchases in our cooler, please let our sous chef know on your way into class.

Is my registration refundable/transferrable?

A one-week notice is required for cancellation of any class. Classes canceled in advance of one week will receive a full refund minus a 10% processing fee. Classes not canceled within one week of scheduled class will not be refunded. Extenuating circumstances will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Email refund requests to classes@downtownmarketgr.com.

All attendees are allowed to transfer their registration as long as the desired class has availability and had no one on the waiting list. If the new class is a higher dollar amount, attendee can pay the difference. Transfer requests must be submitted 6 days prior to the day of the event. Extenuating circumstances will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Email transfer requests to classes@downtownmarketgr.com.
