Lancaster Public Library is pleased to offer free computer classes to the public. Classes are given by experienced library volunteers and are held in the Computer Training Room on the second floor of the Duke Street library. All classes are taught on PCs using the Windows 7 operating system.
Intro to Computers is for those who are just starting to learn about computers, and covers subjects like:
- Terms (there are a lot!)
- Start Menu
- Backspace/Delete keys
- Click and Drag
- Moving and Editing Text
- Single Clicking vs Double Clicking (big difference)
- and much more!
This is a four-part class. Before you sign up please make sure you can attend all four sessions. Class time is Thursdays from 6-7:45pm on the following dates:
Must have a Lancaster County library card in good standing. Must be 18 or older.
Registration is required and please do so only if you can attend all of the sessions listed for the class. Please call the reference desk at 394-2651 x105 with any questions.
Metered parking is available on Duke Street and behind the library. The Duke Street Garage is also across the street from the library.
