Intro to Arduino Class
Friday, June 15, 2012 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM (EDT)
By popular demand, there will be a class demonstrating how to use the famous Arduino microcontroller platform! If you attend this class you will learn the foundation for building your own robot, home automation system, agriculture monitoring system, and whatever else the Arduino is capable of!
If you already have an Arduino, you can bring it with and the class is free! If you need an Arduino you can buy one at the event, but there are only five so make sure to reserve one on this page. Aside from that, all you need for this class is a computer, preferably a laptop. The parts for the different examples will be provided.
If you don't have or want any parts and want to sit in on the class you are still welcome to join in on the fun.
The class will enable you to do the following projects, as well as give you the tools to learn how to do more projects on your own:
Light up an LED in a pattern you make
Play a tune through a speaker
Move the Arduino around using a motor
The location for the class is at Collaborative Office Group in the 1 Washington St Mill Building on the fourth floor. Just take a left when you get to the fourth floor and it's on the right down the hallway.
If you'd like to attend but are busy that Friday, contact us at email@example.com and we'll see if we can arrange another one that Saturday or Sunday.
